    That's it? That's all? A LC9? Yawn... :D

I could take a dremel and give my Keltec PF9 a "meltjob" and probably have the same thing... :D Heck, on a drunk bender, I called Novak and asked them if they could cut and install Novak sights on my PF9. They said $200 for labor and parts, shipping extra... :D

    CRAP...

If that thing pocket carries then I want it.

Need a Side by Side comparison with the LCP right meow.

(I get suckered by marketing all the time).

    LC9
    6" x 4.5 x .90 + 17 oz weight
    PF9
    5.85" x 4.3 X .88 + 16oz weight

You copied another KelTec, and people will flock to you in droves.

    You rascally, rascally Ruger you.

7+1 capacity, 6" total length, 17 oz, $443 MSRP = probably $375 retail (after the initial rush). Not bad!

I will stick with the Taurus 709 Slim. Works great. Easy on the hands for practice. Economical ammo, and sufficiently powerful with hollow points. Bought mine for under $300. It is now just as reliable and accurate as my G26, cheaper and easier to conceal.

That'll make the decision for your Mrs. even more fun

    No joke.

Can't wait to see one in person. Hmmm should I trade my lcp in?

    That's what I'm pondering, too.

Although, as is being mentioned, the LC9 looks like it is directly competing with the PF9 and the 709. If the LC9 is the most expensive among the three, I think I'd be hard pressed to pick it over one of the other two.

I like it. I'm going to give my wife the LCP, and pick one of these up for myself. I've been thrilled with my LCP and SR9. I doubt there will be a recall, but I also am confident Ruger will take care if there are any problems. Besides, I think they learned some lessons in the development of the LCP and SR9. Both mine were recalled, and both performed equally well before and after the recalls.

Also, the price won't be anywhere near the msrp, at least once it's been on the market awhile.

I hope they do a 1911, too. I'll be looking forward to that one.

I didn't care before, but now I'm mad. I am sick of this crap. This is the second time (to my knowledge) that Ruger has copied a Kel-Tec design.
