New to me WASR

This is a SAR-1. Close cousin to the WASR. I like the natural wood on these old rifles. Added a Tapco G2 trigger and threaded the barrel for a muzzle brake.

Just stopping In to show off my new to me WASR 10 if you add up everything I traded for it I’ve got about $800 into it at this point. I thought I was getting a pretty good deal. Anyone have any suggestions on hand guards? I want to ditch the wood. Also stock options for this I’m not a huge fan of the folder.

There are adapters one can purchase to change out the UF stock for around the $100 range.

I like that wasr if you can find a dong grip and a bayonet lug I'd recommend adding that it does add a nice nostalgic look to it

Wrap the underfoler in paracord. Helps it to be a good bit more comfortable imo
