New to me MarkII with threaded barrel

I just picked this up today, it has a threaded barrel with a compensator, hi vis sight, Volq trigger set and a barrel weight.

I can't wait to try it out!

Very cool! Thats quite a setup, my Mark II is pretty finicky about the ammo it will feed, bring a few different kinds along with you.

Sweet Christ that barrel weight is hideous! But I guess necessary, along with the compensator, to tame the ferocious recoil of the mighty .22LR.

Agreed, I think it is made to simulate the weight of a 1911.

I plan to remove it or have it coated.

How is the weight attached to the barrel? Is the barrel tapped and the weight just screwed to it or something? Just curious, I have never seen one like that before.

I can never find already threaded firearms it seems, I like the one you got, pretty cool but it does all need to match!

Repair, is that an Ultradot Matchdot 30mm scope? If yes, where did you get those lens caps and what kind are they? I'd love to have a set like that for my Matchdot.

it's a 30mm bushnell throphy with butler creek covers.
