About 20 years ago I bought a Lady Smith and a Smith 9mm and put them in my gun safe. They have never been fired. Are they worth more because they have never been fired? Models 3913 with 3 1/2 barrel and 5906 with 4 inch barrel.

Not really. Maybe to the right person. But generally speaking used is used. Being in 100% condition helps the value.

As said in general yes BUT to some S&W 3rd Gen DA/SA fan that is the target person to sell to as they will appreciate a BNIB (basically). S&W forum or FB page is probably a more appropriate place to find top $$ that some collectors/3rd gen fans would give

    Good luck

1775usmarine is accurate with a few notable exceptions (if you follow Gunbroker auctions) on both ends of the price spectrum.

I can tell you at least one person that is looking for a 5906 in near NIB condition....unfortunately I'm in Fort Wayne and you are in Evansville.

And they only have 1 post and it could be a predictor as to why they joined here for.
