Too bad it's taken so long for people to start waking up. Of course, some people are slower than than others. Maybe, one of these days, enough people will wake up and say enough's enough and bring our legions home. We have more troops now than when Eisenhower was in office and he warned us of the military/industrial complex that threatened the country.

The places the military is involved is in my opinion, a symptom of the wrong, rather than what is wrong in and of itself. The idea that the U.S. military is some sort of International police/peacekeeping force, where they are deployed to distribute biscuits and rice is the actual issue at hand. The U.S. military is first and foremost a fighting unit, designed specifically to kil people and break :poop: As is, and with good cause, the purpose of any military. The overall view that the military is designed as a utilitarian device of benevolent foreign policy, as well as to be engaged in active conflicts between belligerent nation states as defined in the laws of war is fundamentally flawed.

Lots of us did, and were and had to deal with the gop rank and file. Now we're just as pissed with Obama and his crew. Nothing's really changed since Bush.

    **** yeah! this for sure!!!

we launch military raids into pakistan for over 10 yeas now, but the U.S. agents wont fire at these illegal drug and people smugglers if they hit the water because they dont wanna **** off mexico. WTF??? who gives a crap about mexico? I dont. the only reason the govt does is because mexico is complicit in the illegal and fictitious war on drugs.
