New grips on my 1911

I made these natural cherry grips yesterday. I was wanting to see what a light colored set would look like. I think I like the contrast. What do you think?

No, but I did have a set to use as a pattern. If you want them tight, the holes are the only tricky part

Thanks guys. I just do these for fun, I've only done 5 sets of grips but I do like working with wood like my humidors and quite a few knifes
