New CAR-15

At the stout field show, I picked up a DSArms inc ZM4 a 16.5 bbl AR, 1/7 twist retro looking CAR like I remember from my Army days 75-96.
4 pos stock.
I did a function check with surplus GI O-Kay mags and dummy rounds.
Will get out to test fire it some day, but I just wanted to know if anyone has a DSArms inc rifle in 5.56?

2, 1 Frankengun lower, with ancient Armalite M-15 upper (remember the green?) and a DSA M-16A4 clone from . . . several years ago, lol.

All original, I will shoot it tomorrow, retro like I was issued by my Uncle Sam.
Gotta go with what you know.

That’s awesome. I‘ve spent a little time (and expense) myself putting together clones of both an M16a1 and M16a2. I like that some of the AR makers have been pushing out the retro stuff lately—like you, I learned at Uncle Sam’s knee.

Yes, C-18/5 at Ft Knox KY, I held my first M-16.
This one was made in Nov 2009.
Not new but I shot it in Avon , did better then I expected.
Ammo $13-15 a box of 20 at RK.
