    I've made several of them using banquet table legs. Light, inexpensive, and fairly sturdy. Used heavy duty sawhorse legs for one. No adjustability but they work.

    Edit: I have traded some sturdiness for the ability to fold the legs up.

    I wanted mine to be portable but heavy enough not to wiggle. I made mine out of a tractor carry-all and used a lot of 4x4 and 4x6 for the frame and 2x4, 6, 8 for decking.

    I hook it on the 3pt hitch of one of my tractors and take it anywhere on the farm I want. My brother does want to ride on the back and play "Rat Patrol"...

    Wow, he sure did a nice job DadSmith. What are the dimensions of the table top? Looks like sturdy 3/4" plywood base...which sure isn't cheap these days.
