Anyone know of a good place to have some knifes and a few hatchets sharpened? I know I could do it myself, but would rather have someone who does this often do it.

I actually need this done pretty quick. My buddy is planning a Canadian camping trip in 2 weeks and we need the hatchet and filet knives done.

do you get to fort wayne at all? My buddy mike billman at grindstone cutlery can hook you up. come august he will have been sharpening knives for 30 years. he does and exelent job you wil not be disapointed as part of his career is sharpening and making knives. I cannot reccomend this man enough. kinda a prick sometimes but so are many people. but if you have the time to wait he will more then likeley do it right there, as you wait. He will make sure you are happy before you leave. he charges a dollar an inch for pocket/fighting knives and 50 cents per inch for kitchen cutlery.
