My old Honeywell is working properly. It's not kicking on my HVAC. The fan control was still working but the screen kept blinking and even in the heat mode "cool on" was flashing faintly. Even changed batteries and killed the breaker for a bit. No dice. Probably need a new thermostat. Anyhow the problem I'm running into is the old thermostat had a corresponding letter with the colored wire but the new one doesn't have a B slot. It does but it's labeled O/B and it shares the same slot as the W. My common power wire is purple. The new unit already has a jumper for the heat pump. Where does this blue wire go? Pics for reference

I'm thinking the blue goes into the W2/AUX/E slot or the White wire needs to to that slot and the blue to the W slot. The white was in the AUX spot on the old unit
