I wish they hadn't stop making the C109R, I sooo wanted one. :yesway: They are bad ass! Have you done any mods to it? I have a 2007 C50 (which I'm selling) which I've done a lot to with the help of IntruderAlert Cafe

I bought a replacement for the C50 last summer, an HD Ultra. Will always have a soft spot for the Boulevards though.

HARD-KROME 3" BIG STRAIGHTS, AND BULLY BY G-MAN INDUSTRIES FUEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
I've already put over 1300 miles on it since the last of March!

No kidding. I pass so many HD, GSSR, etc. and the all look so bland to me. I just smile and keep on cruising in style.

I plan on hopefully taking the Abate course in crown point in June or July depending on choices. Never been on a bike before. Anybody have any tips for a noob? If I pass been looking at cruisers like a Honda Shadow. Would like a 2 seater for the wife when I feel comfortable having her onboard. Anybody have any other suggestions for a good beginner bike plan on riding to work at the mill so don't need something too fancy. Thanks and look forward to joining the ranks of my fellow motorcyclists.

No money in the bank to make anything happen but thought I'd share a little.

My dad was a motocross racer. Indoor, outdoor, dirt and pavement. I witnessed him get run over at an indoor track in Ohio when I was a kid. Put him in a torso cast.

Then there was my step dad who made me go on rides with him on his Honda goldwing. On the hilly back roads of martinsville, he'd jump hills when he could with me on the back. By then I was totally freaked out about riding motorcycles, so I never got into riding.

Now, in my 40's I'm really wishing I'd done some riding. I really dig several kinds and am hard pressed to make a decision on what I would get if I had the money. I like bobbers, but both my little boys say they'd go on a ride if I had one. Plus the GF seems to really dig her brothers Harley. So now I'm thinking at least a 2 seated cruiser. My 6 yr old says he likes "crotch rockets"

I can easily see getting into MC's like firearms. One cruiser, one bobber, maybe a street fighter then a rat bike. :D
