    No experience with Alpinestar gloves.

Most of my gear has far more subtle logos, but that is just my choice. As for gloves, none of mine have any sort of a noticeable logo; I've got a couple pairs of Dianese and winter pair of Rev'it. Wife rides with Dianese and Klim.

I will say that my heavy/winter Rev'it moto gloves are awesome.

Alpinestar isn't bad but - unless you are talking race leathers - isn't a pinnacle without competitors. I have (had) Klim, Scorpion, Biltwell, BMW, Fieldsheer & Alpinestars. As long as you don't buy garbage, nothing wrong with FirstGear or Joe Rocket economy stuff either. The fit is important.

Most critical buying decision for gloves (for my riding buddies and I) have been rain gloves. I spent a week and 2.5k miles last October riding an annual trip we do around the southeast mountains and back roads, starting with a few days in Maggie Valley and culminating at the Barber Vintage Fest in Birmingham. This year most of the week was a monsoon and, while the Klim goretex pants/jacket did swimmingly(lol), getting gloves back on wet hands is brutal.

The next rain-centered gloves for me will be: https://www.bobsbmw.com/store/product/bmw-prosummer-mens-gloves

Once you are ready for new boots, check out the Forma Adventure series. I have a set of Adventure Low in black that are all day comfortable on/off bike, easy to put on without a struggle, and wonderfully gore-tex.

Beautiful 50 mile round trip to work this morning. Winterize.

I have waterproof insulated gloves. Hardly ever use them. I need to drag them them out of whatever hidy hole I stuck them in to make sure they are still functional. They might be in the butt pocket of my colder weather riding jacket?

Wow. Makes you wonder if the BST show will be much of anything?

Ride it like ya stole it, ;) That whole area is fun, even in torrential rain. I went to HS in Maryville and lived there until my mid-twenties. It was just "Deal's Gap" then and no "here there be dragons" stuff.

When I was 13 my twin brother tbhausen and I got to meet Evel Knievel. He sponsored dad’s Indy Car in the 1977 Indianapolis 500. Dad even had a firesuit that looked like Evel’s leathers. The coolest part of a meeting him was when I asked him why his watch had two dials and he said “because your dad goes so fast I need both keep up with him”. Absolutely unforgettable!

Imagine if you will...YOU are on the cruiser bike coming the other way seeing what is about to happen.
Do you hang tough and stick to your turn?
Do you assume the Harley is going down and is going to skid to the outside of this radius so you adjust your turn and speed to go to the inside of the turn, risking crossing the centerline which may have more oncoming traffic?
Yikes. Hard split second choices on this one..... What do you all think/say/do?
Alter course slightly to pass behind him if he doesn't pull one out of his ass. If he does, go to Plan C

Anyone here into older Yamaha DT's? Ive been looking to buy a DT 360 just to run around town. Harkening back to my high school days when I wanted to get one. I've had the cruisers, HD's, and sport bikes as an adult. Now these are appealing to me. What say you gentlemen?
