A few months back, sold one of my motorcycles--- had a list of weapons I have wanted for a while: within 3 days bought revolver, rifle, semi auto pistol, and a shotgun!!!!

Had a friend call me a couple of years ago. Some dufus had inherited his father's collection and wanted to trade it for mechanical work. Would I be interested in 11 for 300.00? I hit the credit union on the way there to look at them. You know, just in case.

I purchased five Navy Mark 2 MOD 0 sleeved 7.62 M1 Garands from the CMP auction in one month. At that time very few Mark 2 MOD 0s were available. This was in 2004 before the CMP found all of the barreled 7.62 receivers. The Navy M1s are now worth a little more than I paid for them in 2004.
