Does anyone know if I could shot 00 buckshot threw a "turkey" barrel with a full choke or would I need to use the all purpose barrel.

The reason I ask, is my new shoty came with both barrels. I would like to use the "turkey" barrel due to it being 4" shorter.

    Any suggestions.

I assume that the turkey barrel is 22"-24" with rifle sights. If it allows for removable chokes then I would think it would do a great job of dual purposing as a self defense barrel. I would think the Imp Cylinder or Modified choke tube with buck shot and the rifle sights would be just about perfect. I like the idea of using the Imp Cylinder because then you also put slugs in for a sort of poor mans rifle. Put in a rifled, cylinder or imp cylinder tube for a slug barrel for deer.

Now I am a little bit jealous. I wish the wife would let me spring for a shorter barrel with rifle sights for my hunting gun.
