Chinese Type 53 Mosin Nagant Carbine Rifle (7.62x54R)
-Unfired by me, picked up recently, previous owner enjoyed shooting this one, I have other projects that need attention right now and won't have time to enjoy this rifle
-Non numbers matching, but cosmoline free!
-Wood is just ok, has 2 cracks in stock (one pictured, other one in top of handguard, neither concern me regarding the functionality of this rifle)
-Comes with side folding bayonet and rubber recoil pad
-Bore is a little dark, light pitting, strong rifling, I've seen and shot worse bores that were accurate
-Metal is also just ok, not a complete rust bucket, but not a masterpiece either (Pretty typical Type 53 condition from what I've seen around)
-If you are looking for a collector's item, keep looking
-If you are looking for a functional, cheap rifle, that shoots a large caliber inexpensive round out of a freaking flamethrower of a rifle, here you go
