I recently heard that the rules for the Monon trail were changed so you can now use it any time. Can anyone confirm that? A while back (maybe 2 years ago) I got some hassle from the police for being on the Monon trail near Broad Ripple around 10pm. They said I couldn't be there after 9 so I've been going by that ever since.

Were you sober? That could explain the being "hassled by the man" in Broad Ripple.

Yep, perfectly sober. Maybe that's where I went wrong!

There ya go! If you're knee-walkin, knuckle-draggin, comode-huggin drunk you'll look like everyone else in Broad Ripple.

Rule change to keep Indy greenways open 24/7

24 hour trail access in Indy. See above link. I agree that anyone on the trail must "carry: at all time.

AND be VERY SA. Earbuds in and/or staring at your phone will get you jumped. I dont remember the last story of somebody getting robbed on the trail where they werent listening to tunes while exercising or walking with their phone in their face.
