what is the going prices for a nice one ?

I paid $360 for my East German Makarov. It came with 2 mags. The Bulgarian Makarov's are cheaper, maybe $300-$325. The Soviet and Chinese ones are $500 and up. The ones chambered in .380 can be found for around $325.

Most (all?) Mak's are not C&R eligible.
