Can you see if the locking tab on the mag release is clear of the slot when you push it in.
You will have to push the follower down.

From the top or the bottom? Pressing where exactly?
Push down on the follower with the release depressed as far as possible as far as you can and as hard as you need to. If it is stuck it might already be screwed so no lose.
Ah, suck. Found the problem.
Replacement stock screw. M4, maybe a 7.
&^%$%#@*&, stock screw is a 6, right. Nuts.
Cannot believe I used the wrong flippin' size.
Did you swap out the grips for "Thin" and use the same screws.
