Machine shops

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes. I am looking for a machine shop on the south side of Indy that would rent me time on an engine lathe. I'm wanting to do some experimental work with a Mosin nagant barrel i have and require a good lathe to do so. Does anyone know of such a shop?

You may want to try IUPUI. I am at IUPU-FW (IPFW) and I took a machining class for my MET program, so you can contact the engineering department and see if that is something they will do.

i have a shop in northern indiana, but it is a insurance risk. you'll have better luck getting someone to do it for you their

I highly doubt you could do it at iupui. Given the guy who runs the machine shop there is really cool, but it would still be a gun in school.
