    In Hornadys 8th Edition Manual it says "be careful loading the 140FTX as it requires a different case trim length than conventional bullets. Trimming the case to allow for the longer ogive of the bullet changes case capacity and makes the 0.357 140 gr FTX data different from conventional data. Do not deviate from the printed data"..quoted from manual.

    Back in the days I still had my Colt Python, there wasn't that many different powders available then. I used Blue Dot on most of my reloading. I just used 10% less than the max powder charges by the Speer Reloading Manual.
