I've owned this Case XX 6375 CV with amber bone scales since it was new in the early 1990s. Recently I discovered it in a tool bag in the garage. It had a significant amount of rust/putting, the blades didn't snap, and the Case shield was lost! With some steel wool TLC, lubing, and cleaning, it's back in good shape with nice "walk and talk" of all three blades. I have a replacement shield en route from Case customer service, which I'll use to make it appear whole again. Until then, I've been carrying it my shirt pocket for a couple of weeks and using it. It's a good cutting tool!

Nice , and useful again. :rockwoot:

Thread's been dead for 4 weeks.
Had to go out, and buy something new to post...

Alabama Damascus, with Raffir Moon handles.
Handy size too, almost identical to the Kershaw Echo I carry.

Forgot to post a pic of my Case XX 6375 CV with the new shield! Case customer service sent it to me at no charge! Woo-hoo!

They advised adding a drop of super glue to the back (they glue them now instead of pinning like they did before this knife was made). I would have done so, but I decided to test the fit before gluing . . . and it fit just right . . . and now I can't get it out of there to glue it. So hopefully it will stay put!

Nice! Is it for your collection only, or is it also a user?

My collection isn't really that extensive, with only a few nice ones, so I'll be carrying it. I've learned that it's no good having things you can't use. Need a new sheath though. Came with a leather sheath with a belt clip for vertical carry. I'll need horizontal carry for on the belt just to the right of my buckle. I carry the Echo there almost daily, and it's real easy to get to, yet hides well under a t-shirt.

Was at Bass Pro today so the grandson could see Santa and while waiting was perusing the knives. Came across this little fella and the feel was really nice, so I bought it. The kydex sheath also comes with a loop for belt carry as well as the lanyard for neck carry. Was on sale for $20 & for the money will make a great little back up to my edc. It's the CRKT Minimalist

I got Christmas presents for the head of each household for the in-laws side this year. I think they'll all get a good laugh out of this and it'll save me having to dig my knife out all the time. Mine is the fieldmaster, and their's are the huntsmans. The only difference is they have the cork remover and mine has the screwdriver. If anyone is curious, DLT trading does engraving and has a pretty quick turn around on an already good deal. I'm happy with how these turned out.
