    I'm guessing if you describe one, it's censored, but if you describe two or more, it's not.

    Yep. The forum censoring software only censors exact matches, not wildcard matches. So by adding another letter to the offending word (e.g. "s") it sneaks by the filter. You probably still shouldn't use it though...

    Wasn’t there a time when it was an infraction for using characters in place of bad words? Like typing **** or #•@*.

    I’m pretty sure I remember at least one of the former mods stating “don’t do it, because we know what you really mean”. I definitely remember the “just use the filter” command.

    I remember people getting banned for listening to a certain mod who kept saying "just use the filters" and stuff kept getting by thus a ban.

    The people referred to are no longer on INGO
    Lol, I got my first infraction for relying on the filter. I pointed out that the filter didn't stop the word, but the mods claimed what I said was mean.

    I'm so glad the original staff is gone.
