I need new mower blades and I’ve been looking for a reason to buy a 1/2” cordless impact… :spend:
I just got one at Harbor Freight. It's not going to see that much use, so it is fine for my needs. In fact, my cordless is a 3/8" drive so I can use most of my regular sockets with it. My pneumatic is a 1/2" drive.

I was looking at the harbor freight, figured it’ll buzz lugs off and that type of general work. Hopefully at this point in my life I’m done crawling around in the driveway wrestling wheel bearings and ball joints… but probably not!

Yeah, I never did do that stuff. I can take things off and put them back, as long as I don't have to take a dozen things off to get to them, and then put everything back. Otherwise, I just hire it out. Dad taught me to change the oil and the spark plugs, stuff like that, but not a lot beyond that. I've done more when I was younger (and broker), but not now.

I did all the ball joints on my old truck, plus one wheel bearing and rotors in one day after I got off work. It was a suckfest :lmfao: But I don’t like spending money on crap I’m capable of doing myself. I did take my old car and have the wheel bearings replaced, they are a press in deal and watching a couple YouTube videos made me realize I wanted no part of that crap!

Interesting topic. My Case IH tractor and Cub Cadet used reverse threads. My newish Hustler threads are normal.
The Case blades are even counterclockwise spinning and harder to find new left-hand ones.

Love my Milwaukee fuel impact as it has adjustable torque settings. My air tools don’t see much use anymore with the improvements in battery operated tools.
Those things have some juice! I was trying to get a bolt unstuck at work, guy comes up and asks if I want to use his, it zipped it right out
