It's a good thing. PSA has a lot of manufacturing capability and a deep pocket.

Have had more than a few NDS AK receivers, and have been pleased. While I much prefer Recreator and Childers (in that order), NDS has helped thousands of shooters get into AKs over the years. NDS did a lot of contract work for older Century guns built on import kits, and those guns continue to be more sought after than other Century offerings.

With PSA and now DPMS continuing to grow their AK offerings, this only makes sense. NDS is known in some builder circles for corrosion and finish issues, so hopefully this acquisition helps them improve that.
