I could see it if you were ordering enough other stuff to get free shipping, but not just for the single coin.
Oh yes, I've seen those promo headlines... Silver at Spot! Nice click bait, but a single coin doesn't get my blood going.
I guess SD has about as good a prices as the rest of them. From what I've seen, "low cost" rotates around between a handful of vendors. But like you said, IF you're buying there anyway, why not grab an Eagle at spot.

My thinking is that we're just at the beginning of August. I think we've got the rest of the month to see spot drift down.
I may be wrong, but summer usually isn't a friend of precious metals.
Maybe Jamie Dimon at JPM could hint as to what direction gold & silver are headed.

I bought 8 more rounds from Monument today @25.31 each. The ones I bought on 8/2 were $26.29.
Nice. I got some Scottsdale Cowboy rounds from SD Bullion for $25.45. I had said I was done buying for the year and even intended to sell off a big chunk when (if) prices came up. But could not resist the dip.

Monument and another place or two have silver eagles on sale at around $5 over spot depending on quantity. Big discount on premiums for eagles. They're usually $8-10.

Seeing some decent premium discounts on lots of stuff, makes me think there's more downside.
