This is what my grandson and myself will be tote'n in the woods this year.
The short rifle is one I traded an INGO member. It is a Columbian Mauser in .30'06. It has the custom stock that has been bedded, a Timney trigger and a Lyman peep. I touched the bluing up some, I wish I had one as nice when I was 13 years old.
Grandad is playing backup with the 1962 Winchester Model 100 in .308 and Nikon scope. It isn't my regular rifle but I am not going to be the primary shooter so the 45-70 stays in the sock.
