What would you say to the likes of Biden, Schumer, Pelosi, McConnel, Graham and all the other 'hawks' among our elected officials?
Talk's cheap, and I don't think our 'leaders' have a clue about the edge we're sitting on.

I'm old enough to remember the Cuban Missile Crisis and Duck and Cover drills in grades school; not going to be worth the trouble this time 'round.

I'm not sure whether to considered this more or less credibile than global warming models (which aren't very credible).

For a counterpoint, the book Nuclear War Survival Skills by Cresson Kearny, which contains information gleaned from research performed at Oak Ridge National Lab during the Cold War, and updated in 1999, deals with the "myth" of an unsurvivable nuclear winter and others in Chp1. Makes one wonder who to believe. Just putting on my skeptical hat. Reference link below.
