After a few months, the deer have my motion lights figured out. Now they are no longer afraid of them. This is a tad annoying in that the motion lights are an early warning that "something" is moving on the property.

I thought I'd mess with them a bit by "shooting them" with the Crimson Trace laser. I was surprised to see that they weren't much bothered. I even put the laser on their eyeballs (seen the reflection) and they didn't run. They would raise their heads when I moved the dot around where they were eating, but soon would go right back to it.

    Venison steaks anyone?

I have an extremely bright green laser that I use for astronomy purposes. When I tried the same thing to a few deer that wandered into the observing field I had the same response. Nothing!

Now geese in flight..... they do weird things when you hit em with a green laser..
