Anyone attempted doing this ? Really would not mind having a two tone P365.

Yes, have used this method to dye AR furniture. Is permanent and very evenly colored. Did mag to match. Is an easy process with the Rit dye and boiling process.

Well I think everyone gets to post something useful one time, I think .

Have found a few articles and examples on line. Seems like some have done burgundy, gray and OD green . Which would be an option I would like.
After reading this article I'm thinking of getting a Mossberg Maverick 88 with Tan plastic furniture, and finding a walnut looking dye if possible, and dye it to look like wood instead of plastic. ;)

    A just for fun project.
Maybe die my G3x Frame a different color like a stainless steel look for a two tone Taurus.

I used the sand colored Magpul furniture and an old pot to heat up the dye. There are many videos on the process. I have not tried to use any darker molded parts to determine impact of the die on them. You can probably darken FDE or Coyote Tan to something else but you should look around for the color tables that are posted on this process.

I have dyed mags to match a weapon when there were shortages/price differences.
Went from "sand" colored mags to "FDE" mags. It's a simple process.

There are plenty of YT videos about doing this as well.
