I think it's something like pink or purple text to let people know you're not actually being serious. Usually when saying something outrageous. Generally, when you see something posted in any strange colour assume it's sarcasm.

Unless it's red. Because then it's either a mod and they're being very serious and official-like. Or, if it's not, it should be reported so the mods can let them know to stop doing that.

I've seen it talked about a few times but what is it? Is it using pink text? I thought so at first but now it's being used as the color for tangency's title so I'm not sure.

With 3 punctuation marks (period, 2nd parenthesis, and quotation mark) I can see that they could all seem to run together.

I personally find it much more enjoyable to say ridiculous stuff and let y'all figure it out. Purple is like a triggering alert letting you know I'm about to hurt your feelings.
