    The title more or less sums it up. My slide release appears to have worn down and now won't engage with any of my mags (it slips off the mags), so the slide won't lock back.

    I'm looking for an Indy area shop that is actually open on Sundays that would carries parts. I'm specifically looking for an extended slide release (maybe a Wilson Combat one).

    I could just order one online, but I'm all about instant gratification (plus I can support a local shop).

    I got impatient and ordered one online (the two shops I know are open on Sunday, BGF and Bradis, don't stock 1911 parts).

    But in the spirit of staying local, I visited both places today (bought some Chip McCormick mags and a bushing wrench at Bradis and a some range time and targets at BGF).
