God, if we all stipulated to a few points of dogma, you'd have nothing left to say:

    "Obama sucks"
    "Democrats are socialists"
    "Republicans are great"
    "Obama is a socialist"
    "Obamacare will destroy America"
    "Vote Republican in November"
    "America has to support Israel"
    "We need a big military"

Yeah, the daily rote profession of these statements of faith really has, as you put it, a "positive effect." Let anyone look in here, and they'll think us a monolithic block of solid Republican voters whose voting position is known and unchangeable.

Your latter statement may be valid. It flies in the face of a concept of a uniform, though.

I'm seriously considering bringing a pink AR. I respect diversity;)

It's a 24hr 4 day Convention for Si-Fi , Gaming , and fantasy . We get about 100,000 people there every year . They hold it at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown .

    Gencon runs 20-30K people.

As for muzzle down, that's typical around aircraft to avoid damage to wings, and makes for a much faster unsling and shoot when needed, hence it being also known as "African Carry," as done by professional hunters. It also works quite well on patrol.

And having served in the Army and Air Force, with a wife in the Army, I get to pick on everyone.

I'll simply limit it to observing that the Marines are just a department of the Navy.

    The Men's Department;)

I also have no desire to pretend I'm on duty by marching around. Besides, I'd look far better doing it than the rest of you, and I'd hate to embarrass fellow 2Aers, so out of deference, I will simply walk.;)

If you bring the AR, I may just come in full "Cowboy Goth" attire. ;)

Political protest is all about pushing boundaries. The trick is figuring out where the line between pushing enough and pushing too far is. Different people will come to different conclusions on that. And. that's. okay. If the movement is strong enough to stand on its own feet its strong enough to survive having some not going far enough and some going too far.

I will try to meet you all in the main heliport parking lot before 1330 unless otherwise advised.

I'll look for the men and women with the scary guns.
