Went out to the barn this morning and it was raining inside! Post construction metal building on a slab, all the walls are insulated and lined with OSB but the underside of the sheet metal roof is exposed and once the sun warms up the steel on top it's still much lower temp on the bottom so it starts raining in the barn. I'm thinking of having the spray foam insulation applied to the under side of the roof. Am I on the right track or should I be looking elsewhere? As much as I'd like to it's not economically feasible to keep the barn heated although it does have a heater for when I need to work out there in the winter. I turned on a couple of fans to circulate the air in hopes this will help but need a permanent, economically viable solution.
