    I have a secret invention I want to make a working model of. 30 pounds of steel would just about do it. If I had the tools to machine it. Like a Smity Granite I-MAX 1340. Sigh.

    Oh. And with the left overs, I'd make a 15" blade Fargo style Batangas knife.

    Well, I guess it depends on what kind of steel you have30 pounds of. Cause a 30# chunk of I-Beam won't make a very good knife. So if that's what it is, I would make a different guess.

    Seriously though, show us some pictures of whatever edged goodies you come up with.
