If you don't know how to post pics...

Find out how! There are plenty of ads in the classifieds that have a firearm for sale, then say something about how they don't know how to post pics. At first I didn't mind, but now ad after ad says this.

Here is what you do. Go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket
Create account/log in.
Upload your picture(s), then go to the picture(s).
Copy the link on your address bar.
Create your ad, then click the icon with the little mountains and the sun. That is the "insert image" button.
Paste your link in the box that appears.
BOOM! picture!

That is the "easy" way, this is the "complicated" way.

Go to photobucket.
Create an account/log in.
Upload pics.
Go to your Albums.
Find your uploaded pictures(s).
Put your mouse over the picture, then copy the IMG code.
Post the IMG code to your ad.
BOOM! picture!

Thanks for the instructions. I belong to a motorcycle forum that uses the same software as this forum and it is simple to attach photos there. For what it is worth, I did figure out how to add photos to my album, so hopefully that is an "acceptable" way.

Not me. I am truly stupid when it comes to computers....
I can build a 700 HP big block chevy, build up an AR or a 1911 but I stumble with computers and I have a nice one. Had to have my daughter build my facebook page.

You just think you're stupid. Likely you're just intimidated and not that interested in learning how to do it. Seriously, if you are mechanical, you can do it. Most people who say they don't know computers spend all of 2 minutes trying to do something once then give up.

even easier..... post on photobucket, click on it to enlarge , right click copy, go to your ad, right click paste, post ad, repeat as needed

I think that I am getting the hang of it. Took long enough. Maybe that's why I am old. Several years ago I got into a foot chase with a guy who ran his car into a house. I had just ran my firdt and only marathon (he wasn't going to out distance me) I caught him in front of a bunch of his friende, He is now a myrtar until I told him "he just goy caught by an old fat man" His friends lost a lot of respect for him.
