I had a pistol stolen once and the police told me it was likely it would show up one day, the officer said they have returned guns ten years after they have been stolen.

I don't know about all the police stations in Indy, but I do know that Brownsburg will check firearms if you ask them to. Anytime they pull you over, Brownsburg will also run a check on a serial number to see if a gun has been reported stolen.

Haha! I just speed through Brownsburg doing 35 on SR267 and you're bound to get that serial number checked eventually!
