I was able to get it up for the first time in 2 weeks.

I suffered a training injury that resulted in a dislocated shoulder and broken arm. After being in a sling for many weeks it turned out that my shoulder had healed sort of "in place." I really couldn't lift my arm up more than about 6 inches. It was such a great feeling when, after lots of uncomfortable PT, I could actually move my arm more like normal. Keep working on it!

Having the best of both worlds, here. My arms don't work right, but the one that'll fix them can get other things up too. No, you can't borrow her.

Glad you're doing better. I feel your pain also. I raise my right arm for a living (math teacher) and in 2009 I tore my right rotator cuff. It was an interesting semester, with me sitting at the desk writing on a graphics tablet and projecting it onto the screen.

Gotta love those hot PT's. I actually dated one for a while (of the male variety) until I found out he was married.

I had rotator cuff surgery on 1/23/14 it's really a tough thing to deal with not being able to raise your arm about your head... I feel your pain.
