I didn't realize that Chinese BBQ sauce was such an issue...

Along with my Yuengling resupply from Jungle Jim's yesterday, I picked up a bottle of BBQ sauce. Also, I'm happy that they finally offer a lead-free variant. :):

I prefer the Chinese BBQ sauce.

You just can't truly reproduce that flavor without the lead paint.

    China ^_^
I know this thread is well intended humor, but I'm actually curious if there is BBQ sauce in China, because I sure haven't seen any since I've been here, and I eat BBQ every day.

How is it BBQ without sauce? You're talking like you're living in Crazy Town and the place is run by Mayor McCheese.

I'm in a "small city" with a population larger than the state of Indiana. I'll be fair, the majority of barbeque I eat here is chuan 串,like kebabs, but most of the flavor and spice is added with a rub. Anything that's brushed on just looks similar to honey with spices, not something I'd consider traditional BBQ sauce. It's a sauce, sure, but I wouldn't label it as BBQ sauce.

Every city here is Crazy Town. China is one crazy ass country, that's for sure. I miss :ar15: but not much else.

You need to check a big town. A few expats have bbq places over your way.
