Do any of you know good HVAC parts suppliers in central Indy? I need a Carrier draft inducer assembly, my furnace is down and I'd like to find one in stock locally to pick up.
Should be an easy 30 minute DIY install.

Koch Air is the local Carrier distributor, but most supply houses are closed on Saturdays.

I know I’ll have to wait till Monday. Do most of these places sell to the public or do I need to be a licensed tech?

There’s tons of them online from $250-$480 but shipping takes almost a week.

Baker Distributing might have the part, but you need an account. Most supply houses won’t sell to the public for liability reasons. The don’t want YouTube techs blowing up a house from installing a part they sold. Best bet would be Koch Air or Habegger, but you also need an account there. If you can’t find the part, let me know. I have accounts at all 3.

I’ve gotten my systems back up and running with parts from Shorty’s several times over the years.

This doesn’t make much sense anymore since there’s 1000 places on the Internet that will sell it to me.

I prefer to support local businesses if possible, but if they don’t want my money, then I will go online to get it.
