Hunting Guide Schools

Has anyone been to a hunting guide school. My son just graduated from high school and wants to go to one out west. I have researched them on the internet and have found several, but how do you really know for sure. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

i went out west hunting and the place i went ran a guide school aswell. i was considering going to there school but i found out its mainly horsemanship at there school. very little "hunting training"

This is what I am finding out about a lot of the guide schools. They have you work with their horses and do a lot of chores. I am trying to find one that actually teaches them to be a guide.

thats what i was looking for but gave up after years of no luck. if you find one let me know. i would love to go to a guide school

My brother in law is from Montana and his two cents is these "guide schools" are mostly ranches looking for subisdized labor
