Are the Ruger SR9cs going for more than the full sized SR9? I've seen a few posts here with people saying they paid anywhere from $499 to $560, and I just bought a full sized SR9 last month, brand new for $399.:dunno:

Had 2 guns given to me, but the first I purchased was a Ruger Super Single Six for about 185.00. Have it to this day and probably always will.

My first was from the wife on my 21st birthday. A Sterling .22 auto. I think she/we/I (she wrote the check on "our" bank account that only I paid into) paid about $80 with leather holster in 1977. I still have it although I can't remember the last time I plinked with it. I got rid of her long ago.

My first handgun was a very crappy choice- a .22 Jennings, think i paid around $70 in 1986. Sold it to a neighbor long ago, don't know why he'd want a gun we complained about so much. I had some extra .22 ammo and the manual- i told him i'd have to look for and bring it down later. When i found it, I took it to his house, but he wasn't home, and the wife answered the door. When i told her what i was there for she said, "WHAT GUN? Mike has a gun?!" OOPS! :dunno:

That turned into a VERY EXPENSIVE gun for him!
