You didn't miss anything. The posting was about purchasing a new firearm since the recent congressional action on the second amendment. Just happened last week.
My post was in reference to this. No new firearms since the passage of the bill:
    Just purchased ammo online!

    Gotcha. Thanks!

Just making sure there are no new laws regarding online ammo purchasing.

No new guns since the legislation. I did buy a PSA Dagger a few Months ago.
I have placed 2 decent sized ammo orders in the past Month.
    Both from Velocity.com.

I may order some more ammo tonight, as I got a notification that something I was after is now back in stock.
I am more concerned about getting ammo than I am firearms.

So I have the chance to pick up a Beretta Bobcat Covert (threaded barrel) for $400, should I FO and buy it. Not sure what pricing is generally on them but it's a cool little gun.

The SCOTUS court ruling was fantastic, but won't impact Indiana residents.

The Biden gun control law was disappointing, but was more a "feel good" bill for the anti-gunners, with little real impact.

Neither directly influences my decision to buy firearms. Unfortunately, finances and cash flow available for recreational purposes is the key factor in that decision.

Well, I TRIED. Strolled into Greenville's rural king at a few minutes after 8 the other day, and they told me that they didn't have the time to sell me a new rifle. Not pleased.
It would have to be a helluva deal I could not get anywhere else (even close) to go through the gun buying experience at RK again, based on my last experience there doing so (and we have one close by now).

No sadly. Waiting for lever guns to cool off a little. Everything's nuts. Biden's sunk the economy and it's hit me in the pocket hard.
