Connery was by far the best but Craig is pretty good - aside from his personal opinions on stuff. When I watch a movie I don't really care too much what the actors believe in - exceptions being Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes because they are both BAT S*** crazy. Craig is the only Bond aside from Connery that could actually kick some real ass if SHTF. He seems to pull the Bond persona off pretty well, I must say.

Sean C. is my 2nd pick I believe as Pierce Bronsan is prolly my fav. They are so close and change from 1st to 2nd all the time. My fiance is prolly even a bigger fan than me, she never misses a show. No matter how many times she's seen the movie.

On a side note, I am loving the new ones (Quantum of Solace). Casino Royale left some stuff to be expected I think.

The older Bond movies are pretty good, but I love the two newest ones. I like the younger Bond who is quite risky on everything. Daniel Craig has made Bond a BAMF again. I didn't really enjoy Pierce Brosnan before.

I used to like them, but now most of them (even the classics) do not interest me enough to spend the time watching them.

Add to my lack of interest the fact that Sean Connery and the new guy (Daniel Craig?) are both vehemently anti-individual RKBA, and my interest wanes to zero.

The Ian Fleming books that I read when I was younger were much better.[/quote]

Yep, Ian Fleming, John Gardner, Raymond Benson ( a couple ); they wrote the best 'Bond' books.

Interestingly enough to write about, Timothy Dalton and Daniel Craig are the two 'Bonds' that actually represent Fleming's original James Bond character the most.

Bond was a ruthless, calculating-loner who's soul ties were to MI6 and 'M'. 'M', then, was a retired Navy Admiral who was course and disliked Bond's frivilous acts with women and booze. I enjoyed reading them. I've actually got 90% of the entire collection. Someday I'll actual have the books published in Britain.

Love James Bond. I always try to catch it when it's on TV (marathons or just single episodes). I need to quit being cheap and buy the James Bond DVD collection. GoldenEye 007 for the N64 is still probably my most favorite video game of all time.

Sean Connery was definitely the best, but I've been pretty dissatisfied with Daniel Craig as Bond. I like him as an actor, but I feel he just doesn't fit the role of Bond.

BTW, Goldeneye for N64 was THE best multiplayer game ever.
