How many different calibers do you have?

I have .22 pistols,. and rifles, .22 mag. pistol, .38 spl., .357 mag., 9mm, .41 mag, .44 mag., and spl., .45, acp, and lc, .410, 12 ga., .223/5.56, .30 carbine, and .308 .....

I have worked my way down to 7....I did what the OP mentioned and sold some stuff to narrow my calibers. Anything new I get I try to keep in one of my existing calibers. .45 acp, 9mm, 22lr, 223, 7.62x39, 5.45x39, 12 gauge.

I was just curious how many different calibers of firearms people own. I personally like to have a variety of firearms, with many different calibers. I was talking to a friend that only wants one, because he only wants to have to buy a few kinds of ammo.

I have 9 mm pistol, 22lr rifle and pistol, 223 rifle, and 12 ga shotgun. I think I have most areas covered for hunting, competition shooting, and home defense with these. this also keeps the amount of ammo I need to keep in stock in the safe to just 3 types which is saving me some space in my small safe.
