I've been watching a lot of 3-gun videos lately and its really got me excited about buying some steel. Obviously, Im gonna go with Bobcat Steel. As of now my plans are to buy (5) 4" rounds, (2) 10" squares, and (6) bowling pin shaped.

The 4" rounds are going to be for plate rack that I intend on building, where I can reset with pull string. My question for these is, will 4" rounds be too small for something like that?

The 10" squares are just going to go on some "T" post fence posts, or a wood 4x4 stand. Which would you recommend?

The 6 bowling pins I would like to build a frame where they would be set up in triangle on the ground, with some type of hinge device on them, so they would be knocked over but could be set right back up.

Has anyone done anything like this? I should probably ask Bobcat, but can AR500 be welded to other metals?

    Thanks for any help.
