$200 isn't chump change but I don't think you'll miss it in the future if you are never able to buy any more ammo. What is everyone going to do if there is an all out ban or whatever event to prevent us from ever being able to buy ammo at retail again? If you think individuals are trying to gouge now, what will their prices be in the future?
If there is an "all out ban" and we can "never buy any more ammo", would the bullets you have made/bought/stockpiled be legal?
I really don't think Obama (personaly) had anything to do with the price increases. It seems more like people taking advantage of people in a difficult situation too me. The same thing happened in 1994 with guns and ammo because of Clinton, didn't it? Then after a 9-10 months the price fell back to "normal". Do you have some $20 bullets left over from the '90's? Reminds me of the Christmas time gouging on the "___" (insert "must have" item here). "Hot Product" only cost $x but since people know that someone "has" to have it they will buy it (even though they don't even want it) and sell it for many multiples of $x. I think we must strongly disagree on what "free-markets" are. You assume I am a socialist because I don't like price gouging and call yourself a captialist because you don't see anything wrong with it. I'm the first to admint that I don't have any degrees in Economics but there are things in this world that don't require classroom instruction to understand. I would feel completely different about this ammo price increase if it was increased by the manufacturer due to costs or demand but since I know that they aren't the ones responsible for it that leaves people who did nothing to produce it gouging others who want it.I don't like high prices any more than the next guy but I also know that complaining about them doesn't drop the price one bit. Prices are what they are and markets are what they are. I'd rather pay $20 for a single round than have the obamanation put price controls on or eliminate our free market economy.
I guess the free market is speaking. The price must be too highEveryone on here seems to want 380 ammo and I have listed some for sale but nobody wants to pay anything for it. I'm asking more than a fair market price for today's standards and you would think I was trying to sell everyone the plague on here.
