Hendricks County Sherriff Republican Primary

Anyone have any info on the candidates? I moved here from Michigan and don't know much about local politics. The internet was less than helpful---candidates are Dave Galloway, Terry Judy, Jack Sadler. Thanks for any help.

Indiana Sheriffs are Constitutional officers, and limited to two consecutive terms.

I've been away from Hendricks county for 35 years, so I don't know the current Sheriff landscape.

Do you like the current Sheriff's policies and actions? If so, set an appointment with the Sheriff and have a discussion. If they are not running again ask who they recommend, and who will continue the current policies.

I did just that in Boone County. It made my decision on who to support an easy one.

Do the candidates give specific actions in their platform, or generalities? It's very easy to say "if you elect me I'll reduce crime" unfortunately when you're actually sitting in the chair it gets real hard real fast.
