Thanks, after looking up the enfields I believe you are correct.Not sure about the one on the left, but the one on the right looks like it belongs on an Enfield Mk3. WW1 vintage rifle and used extensively around the world. The one on the left has an L in a circle stamped on it. When I see this on old guns it tells me that it was proofed in Liege Belgium. It could also be made for French contract as for years Belgium made arms for anybody who had cash.
