H&R 30-06

Like others have asked about H&R rifles, I just purchased one in 30-06 from Buds. Anybody have any experience with one and what loads shot the best from yours? I know each rifle is different but I need a starting point. Thanks!

I used to have one. It really liked the Winchester Super X 150 grain soft point. Would put three shots into an inch.

I will try those. I am starting to wish I ordered the 308 instead. Still could I guess

I have a few 30-06's and I target with 150 grains. I reload most of my target rounds. But for hunting I either shoot 180 or 220 depends on where I'm hunting. Like in the wide open or very thick wooded area. And when I'm coyote hunting I use sabot rounds I reload myself
