The selfishness in me wants to keep this a secret but being an INGO member and wanting to see another LGS succeed wants me to share this hidden gem. I am a loyal BGF person but after over a year of not practicing anywhere and waiting for their range to open and a refusal to pay these outrageous prices to shoot in a rifle range fro the new locations, I finally found Gunslingers in Anderson. Price is fair at $20/hr regardless if pistol or rifle. I practiced with both and wow, being a year off really shows.

It's clean, ventilated, and well lit and the people I met are very nice. I even talked to one that helped me with my scope thinking I had a bum mount. Instead, he easily found the problem and no cost in having to buy another. Will definitely go back. This may be my go to for indoor shooting and I am liking Wilbur Wright for outdoors. It may be kind of far, but BGF was also a good drive for me and I find these places are worth it.

I'm not sure where you are located, but I can recommend both Indy Arms at 55 and Keystone area (54 and Tacoma) and also Point Blank range in Carmel. Indy Arms only has 6 lanes available to the public (with another 6 for instruction), but it was nice, clean and pretty much state of the art. Point Blank is similar, in that it's a newer facility, so very nice and clean. It's also huge and has 20 lanes like BGF used to have, along with a very large shop, sitting area where you can look into the range and a lot of staff members. I've been going to Point Blank every weekend since just after they opened (I believe in May). Both facilities are nice and I can easily recommend both. Prices are about the same as you'd mentioned.

If I'm ever up in Anderson, I'll have to try out Gunslingers, thanks for the information :)

Indy Arms lets folks shoot on all the lanes. I am there about every weekend and have yet to see them turn someone away. As info.

I shoot at Wilbur Wright whenever I get a chance, but I stay away from Anderson. Grew up there and watched it turn to ****.

I've shot at gunslingers several times, made a few purchases, and they have handled a couple of transfers for me. It's a great little shop upstairs and a clean, well ventilated range downstairs.

    Great people too!

Gunslinger's is a great shop. I have an RSO class there Saturday. They were more than willing to work with me to use their training room. I keep trying to go shoot on ladies day but my partner in crime doesn't get off work in time
